About
Hi and welcome to my blog.
My name is Bec Spink and I am a primary school teacher in a DEECD school in the northern suburbs of Melbourne. I began writing this blog so I could have a place to share and explore my thinking, feelings and discoveries as a teacher attempting to better myself and my practises in this digital age.
I am completing a Masters in Education (Specialising in Information Technologies) and am currently in my fourth year of teaching.
Technology in education has always been the forefront of my thinking and as a teacher I am always trying to find new, innovative and interesting ways of using technology in the classroom to not only motivate, engage and inspire my students but myself as well. I am one of those people that as soon as I see something new, I have to try it. I find myself so excited and inspired by the ways I can embed technology within the classroom and only hope that my experiences may intrigue, motivate or encourage other teachers to have a go at doing the same.
This blog will be my vehicle for sharing and exploring as well as learning from others so that I can in turn, improve my practise as an educator.

Hi Bec,
I enjoyed reading about how you are using goodreader and other programs to cut down on the paper trail in the classroom. It all looks very impressive! I also look forward to reading about using your ipad on your IWB. Thanks for sharing your learning.

Hi Sarah,
Thanks for your comment- I am glad you have enjoyed the posts. It can be hard to get your head around it to begin with but using the iPad for eliminating the paper trail is fantastic when you get used to it! It keeps me so mobile in the classroom! I love it!
I will make sure I do a post about using the IWB with the iPad- there are so many things you can do!
Thanks again for the lovely comment!
Regards,
Bec
